Architecture with your
hands on the tools.
Build and maintain the deployment, infrastructure and observability systems that keep SmartAvatar services reproducible, deployable and reliable across cloud, edge, test, demonstration and production-like environments.
You will make SmartAvatar systems reproducible, deployable, observable and recoverable across development, test, demonstration, cloud and edge environments. Your work will enable engineering teams to deploy, monitor and reproduce services consistently for demos, pilots and production-like environments. You will collaborate closely with architecture, backend, Digital Twin, AI, security and QA engineers to build reliable infrastructure and deployment workflows. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gazipur, Bangladesh, suited to an engineer with experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure automation and cloud or edge environments.
02 / Your contribution
What you will own
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerised environments
- Manage development, staging, test and demonstration deployments
- Support cloud, edge and GPU/model-service deployments where required
- Implement logging, metrics, alerting, tracing and service health checks
- Manage secrets, configuration and environment-specific settings
- Implement and maintain backup and recovery processes
- Support load, resilience and integration testing
- Improve deployment reproducibility and operational reliability
- Collaborate with architecture, backend, Digital Twin, AI, security and QA teams
- Help maintain consistent environments across development, testing, demos and production-like deployments
03 / Your experience
What you bring
The experience and capabilities we are looking for.
- Around 3 years or more of experience in DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineering
- Strong working knowledge of Linux
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised environments
- Experience with Git and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins
- Experience working with cloud platforms
- Understanding of Kubernetes concepts and container orchestration
- Experience with infrastructure automation
- Understanding of deployment, configuration and environment management
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Useful additional experience
These skills are welcome, but are not essential requirements.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar observability technologies
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Experience deploying or managing edge devices
- MLOps or AI/model-service deployment experience
- Experience with GPU-enabled infrastructure
- Experience with Kubernetes in production or production-like environments
- Familiarity with distributed systems and service monitoring
