Build automated tests and reproducible evidence that SmartAvatar systems work reliably, integrate correctly and meet defined requirements across partners and releases. Test APIs, interoperability, performance, resilience and end-to-end system behaviour.
You will build automated evidence that SmartAvatar systems work, integrate correctly, meet acceptance criteria and remain reliable across partners and releases. At SmartAvatar, delivery should be demonstrated through reproducible test results rather than informal confirmation that a demo worked. Your work will help turn technical requirements, acceptance criteria and KPIs into repeatable validation processes. You will work closely with project management, architecture and engineering colleagues to translate requirements into executable tests and maintain clear evidence of system quality, conformance and interoperability. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gazipur, Bangladesh, suited to an engineer with experience in QA, test automation, API testing and integration validation.
02 / Your contribution
What you will own
- Create and maintain API, integration, regression and end-to-end automated test suites
- Validate schemas, service contracts, authentication, failure paths and edge cases
- Automate testing within CI/CD pipelines
- Track test results and behaviour across software versions and releases
- Translate requirements, acceptance criteria and KPIs into concrete test cases
- Run load, latency, resilience and interoperability tests
- Validate integrations between SmartAvatar components and external or partner systems
- Maintain reproducible test environments, results and supporting evidence
- Prepare and maintain evidence packs for milestones, reviews and project deliverables
- Collaborate with project management, architecture and engineering teams on quality and acceptance criteria
03 / Your experience
What you bring
The experience and capabilities we are looking for.
- Around 3 years or more of experience in QA, software testing or test automation
- Experience developing automated tests using Python or TypeScript
- Strong API testing experience
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman/Newman, Playwright, Cypress, PyTest or similar
- Understanding of API, integration, regression and end-to-end testing
- Ability to translate technical requirements into clear and executable test cases
- Strong discipline in traceability, documentation and reproducibility
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good written and spoken English
Useful additional experience
These skills are welcome, but are not essential requirements.
- Experience with performance and load testing
- Experience with API or service contract testing
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing distributed or microservice-based systems
- Familiarity with interoperability and conformance testing
- Experience testing asynchronous or event-driven systems
- Familiarity with test reporting, evidence collection and quality metrics
