Work at the intersection of AI product design, user experience and growth. Help shape how users discover, understand and use SmartAvatar products while using research, analytics and experiments to improve the experience.
As an AI Product Design + Growth Intern, you will work at the intersection of product, design and growth. You will help shape how users discover, understand and use SmartAvatar's AI products by turning complex AI capabilities into simple, useful experiences and using data to determine what should be improved next. You will work closely with engineers and product colleagues to take ideas from research and design through to launch.
02 / Your contribution
What you will own
- Design user flows, wireframes and interfaces for new and existing AI product features
- Conduct user interviews, usability tests and feedback analysis
- Improve onboarding, activation and retention journeys
- Set up and analyse product experiments and A/B tests
- Track and interpret key product metrics
- Work closely with engineers to take designs from idea to launch
- Help define product requirements
- Contribute to product roadmap prioritisation
03 / Your experience
What you bring
The experience and capabilities we are looking for.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme in Interaction Design, Product Design, HCI, Industrial Design, Business, Information Science or a related field
- Portfolio or examples of design, UX research or product work
- Student projects are accepted as portfolio work
- Experience with Figma or a similar design tool
- Analytical mindset
- Interest in understanding how people use AI products
- Good written and spoken English
- Available for a six-month internship
Useful additional experience
These skills are welcome, but are not essential requirements.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Mixpanel, PostHog, Hotjar or similar product analytics tools
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with no-code or low-code tools
- Familiarity with AARRR or product-led growth
- Experience designing AI features such as chat interfaces, agents or recommendation systems
