You will help design, build and ship features for SmartAvatar's AI products — from multi-LLM orchestration and AI agents to backend services, web applications and 3D avatar experiences.
You will help design, build and ship features for SmartAvatar's AI products — from multi-LLM orchestration and AI agents to backend services, web applications and 3D avatar experiences. You will write production code, review it with senior engineers and see it go live. Individual students and small student teams are both welcome to apply.
02 / Your contribution
What you will own
- Build and improve features across our AI products, from backend to user interface
- Work with large language models: prompt design, retrieval (RAG), agents, evaluation and multi-LLM orchestration
- Develop APIs, integrations and data pipelines
- Write tests, document your work and take part in code reviews
- Experiment with new AI models and tools, and turn promising ideas into working prototypes
- Present your results to the team and help decide what ships
03 / Your experience
What you bring
The experience and capabilities we are looking for.
- You are enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field
- Solid programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Basic understanding of APIs, Git and databases
- Hands-on curiosity about LLMs and AI tooling — personal projects, hackathons and university projects all count
- An independent, proactive way of working and good communication skills in English
An added advantage
Useful additional experience
These skills are welcome, but are not essential requirements.
- Experience with frameworks such as React/Next.js, FastAPI or Node.js
- Experience with LLM APIs, vector databases, LangChain/LlamaIndex or agent frameworks
- Docker, cloud platforms or CI/CD
- Interest in 3D, avatars or real-time applications
